Police Investigating Stabbing

Dublin Police responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon Thursday afternoon.

Information provided by Dublin Police Services Department:

responded to a report of a man screaming for help Thursday afternoon around 3:09 p.m. at the located at 6450 Dougherty Road, according to a press release issued by Lt. Herb Walters.

Upon arrival Dublin Police Officers were told by the victim that the suspect is an acquaintance of his and when he was talking to him the suspect lunged forward and stabbed him the in the bicep.

The victim was transported to Eden Medical Center and will be released; his injuries were not life threatening. 

The suspect was contacted at his apartment and taken into custody without incident.
