Bio:

Before coming to Patch, I was a Special Projects Producer for the NBC station in Boston. I have worked at various television station's throughout the country. As a journalist for nearly 10 years, I've had the opportunity to earn two Emmy Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award. I'm passionate about telling stories that make a difference.

I am a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in English. I also received a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.

I love meeting new people and look forward to getting to know Dublin residents. I grew up in the Bay Area and am excited to call this unique area home again.

My aim as a journalist is to tell the stories in Dublin that you want to hear and deserve to know about. I welcome you to interact frequently on Dublin Patch and to contact me with story ideas, suggestions and feedback.

Beliefs:

At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible and human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal certain key beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable.

This disclosure is not a license for our editors to inject these beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that our beliefs are on the record will force us to be ever mindful to write, report, and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you, the user, ever think you see evidence that we failed in this mission, we wholeheartedly invite you to let us know.

Local Hot Button Issues

What do you think are the most important issues facing the community?

A few issues I'll keep an eye on include school and city budget cuts and new businesses and development. Dublin is a growing city and there are lots of changes to cover!
