Be A Part of the Alameda County Historical Monument
Residents can purchase a custom inscribed brick in celebration of the fair's 100th anniversary.
Here is your chance to be a part of Alameda County history through a program called "Buy a Brick."
The Alameda County Historical Monument is at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. The monument will include a flag pole, benches and bricks creating a circle around the area.
Residents can buy a 4 x 8-inch personalized brick for $150. The cost for businesses and corporations is $300. A purchase includes four tickets to the 2011 Alameda County Fair and an invitation to the dedication ceremony.
