Schaefer Ranch Park Now Open

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Saturday morning.

Saturday marked the grand opening for the much-anticipated Schaefer Ranch Park in Dublin. A ceremony attended by local dignitaries was held at the 6.3 acre park at 10 a.m. on Nov. 2.

The park is located on the west side of Dublin and features tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, age-specific playgrounds and a walking path.

Of the new park Dublin Mayor Tim Sbranti wrote, via email:

"Schaefer Ranch Park is not only the City's largest neighborhood park in terms of size, but the views are spectacular. There are a wide variety of amenities for people of all interests and ages, and I think the community is really going to enjoy it for years to come."
