Pleasanton Man Charged in Stabbing to be Arraigned Tuesday

The stabbing occurred in Dublin on Friday afternoon. The victim and suspect were coworkers, according to police.

A Pleasanton man will be in court tomorrow to be arraigned on charges in connection to the stabbing of 55-year-old man in Dublin.

Ji Yen Ye, 45, who is accused of stabbing 55-year-old Michael Wu in the stomach and head on Friday afternoon, will appear in the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton on Tuesday at 1 p.m. 

Police officials say the two men involved in the altercation were coworkers.

According to a statement released by police, Wu was found bleeding from his stomach and head after a Waste Management driver picking up recyclables in the 3700 block of Rimini Lane heard an argument nearby and called 911.

"Wu was stabbed several times but surgery was successful and recovering."
