In an interview with KTVU Monday night, the husband of limo fire victim Jenni Balon said one of the survivors told him what happened in the Saturday night tragedy that took his wife's life.

John Balon, filmed holding the couple's squirming toddler son at their Dublin home, said he was told the eight women in the car could not escape because the back passenger doors of the burning car were locked.

"I'm frustrated, disappointed," he said in the interview. "If only they (could) break the glass, maybe they would have survived."
