Alameda County firefighters responded to a house fire reported at 11:09 a.m. on the 8500 block of Wicklow Lane in Dublin.

The two-alarm blaze appears to have caused significant damage in a two-story home, but there were no injuries.

"The 2-alarm fire on Wicklow Ln is under control. No reports of injuries. Resident safely evacuated in advance of firefighters arrival," the Alameda County Twitter page said shortly after noon.

The one resident who was in the home was able to safely evacuate before firefighters arrived. The resident saved two dogs that were also in the home, Knowles said. According to Knowles, the resident climbed through a window to escape the flames.

Fire crews from the Camp Parks Fire Department in Dublin, the San Ramon
Valley Fire Protection District and Livermore-Pleasanton fire assisted in
putting out the blaze. PG&E officials were also seen at the home.
