Indy 500 Winner Tony Kanaan Will Be At Barons in Dublin

How can you get a shot at meeting the racing legend? Read on.

Get up close and personal with a piece of Indianapolis 500 history this week at Barons in Dublin. On Aug. 19, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., the Indy race car that won the 2013 Indianapolis 500 will be on display to the public at new Barons Legacy Showroom in the Hacienda Crossings shopping center in Dublin.

Race car driver Tony Kanaan, the winner of this year's Indianapolis 500 and a longtime favorite of racing fans, will be making an appearance at Barons on Aug. 20 between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

Ronnie Heller, owner of Barons, says that anyone who buys a limited edition Luminox Tony Kanaan watch, will get to meet Kanaan.

The Indy car is owned by Alamo resident Kevin Kalkhoven and Jimmy Vasser of Napa, who are the owners of KV Racing Technology.

Kanaan is in the Bay Area to compete in the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma on Aug. 25.
