Coloratura soprano, Sarah Sloan has performed a wide range of classical and musical theatre music all over the Bay Area. From singing new arrangements of lieder for voice and guitar to Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, Ms. Sloan's eclectic repertoire includes The Cherub in SF Early Music's production of The Patient Socrates to Lucy Brown in The Threepenny Opera. Recent performances include Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, Sarah in Company and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. Other roles include Maria in The Sound of Music with Contra Costa Civic Theatre, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense with Tri Valley Rep and Masha in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at Altarena Playhouse. Her work with SF Cabaret Opera rendered a well received Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze Di Figaro and performances in new works for their Fresh Voices Festival. Ms. Sloan has enjoyed collaborating with other local companies such as Lamplighter's Music Theatre, The Ross Valley Players and Opera On Tap.

As a concert soloist Ms. Sloan has appeared as featured soloist with Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra at The Dean Lesher in Walnut Creek, The Pleasanton Chamber Players and most recently with her brother, noted guitarist and arranger Grady Sloan, at CCPAS and The Etude Club in Berkeley. After graduating from CSU Hayward (CSUEB) with a degree in vocal performance, Ms. Sloan worked as a busy church soloist in many congregations across the East Bay. That same year she opened her private voice studio in Dublin and has been an active music educator in the area ever since. She is passionate about opening young minds to different forms of music and vocal styles and teaches several clinics every year at public schools and theatre groups. She is a frequent contributor to the Kids and Advice section of San Francisco Classical Voice and has attended graduate level pedagogy at Holy Names University.
