Ceri Hitchcock-Hodgson, Neighbor
- Dublin, CA
I've been a writer since the age of 11 when I penned my first novel, the autobiographical "The Silly Family Album".
My career continued through junior and high schools where I was on the school paper, in to college where I earned an English degree (but was not on the university paper), and then to a position as an editor and reporter for six years at the Tri-City Voice newspaper.
Now I'm happy to find myself a part of the Patch family as a contributing writer for Union City - my hometown.
...
A friend recently asked me what I would do if I won the lottery.
"Would you still be a reporter?" she wondered.
"Yes," I quickly answered, "I will always be a writer."
I think it's safe to say I'm in the "write" line of business [insert cymbal crash here}.
