Dublin Volunteers Recognized by YMCA of the East Bay

Kenny Collings and Mike and Teri Bunnell were given the "You are the Difference" award on Oct. 16.

Three of Dublin's residents were recently recognized for their hours of volunteerism.

Kenny Collings and Mike and Teri Bunnell were presented the "You are the Difference" award by the YMCA of the East Bay at the organization's 134th Annual Meeting & Volunteer Recognition Awards Ceremony on Oct. 16.

For the last three summers, Collings has participated in the CILT program at Tri-Valley. He has planned activities for campers, eats with them and helps them with their activities.

"He always asks what more he can do to make camp a better place," the program for the event said. "More than that, he has an amazing attitude. Even if he is cleaning up glitter and feathers, he has a smile on his face."

The Bunnells have also volunteered at the YMCA for the past three years.
