The daily grind of Voice Acting

I love my profession! Isn't it wonderful to be able to say that? The computer goes on at 6am because there are clients from the East Coast. The beautiful site of a script ready to be interpreted and read.It is a blessing everytime I see one. It's a read through, a word count, a determination how fast the read will be, and the voice acting begins. Where does the warmth come in, when does the client get an emphasis on their name, when do I pull back from the enthusiasm? That is all part of voice acting. Anybody can read, but not everybody can act. Thank goodness just last week I took a tune up coaching class from my voice acting coach in San Francisco. Hats off to Elaine Clarke at VoiceOne. Off to retrieve more scripts and on with my day!
