Mayor Sbranti said he's excited about the team coming to Dublin and believes it's great for the city, and the Tri-Valley, as well.

"The athletes themselves will be great role models for young athletes in the Tri-Valley," said Mayor Sbranti.

The season opener exhibition game is free and will take place on Saturday, April 16 against Cal with kickoff starting at 6 p.m. A second free exhibition game will take place on May 14 at 6 p.m.

The official league game will be held on May 14. A website for the team is in the works, which will give fans the opportunity to purchase tickets.
