In Photos: Opening Day for Dublin United Soccer League
Green fields, bright jerseys and excited players made for dynamic day of soccer across the sports fields at the Dublin Sports Grounds.
Players between the ages of five to 18 from all over town took to the windy fields at the Dublin Sports Grounds on Saturday to kick-off opening day for the Dublin United Soccer League.
Sporting new uniforms this season, boys and girls spent the day building camaraderie while playing and learning the game of soccer.
Nick Lusson, the Technical Director for Dublin United, along with other league officials spoke to all of the parents of players before each game.
"It is all about the kids," Lusson said.
According to Lusson, the league has the highest number of players ever enrolled this season.
