Dublin's boys team downs Las Lomas, Cal boys and girls upset Granada while Livermore's girls team edges Foothill in the final seconds

Dublin 76 Las Lomas 61

Dublin High kepts its unbeaten league record as it defeated Las Lomas High, 76-61.

The Gaels scored early and often to take a 13-point lead at halftime. The Knights closed the gap in the second half, but Dublin pulled away at the end for the victory.

The Gaels were paced by Jo Jo McGlaston's 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Dublin is now 11-5 overall and 3-0 in league. They have now won four straight.

Las Lomas falls to 11-5 overall and 2-1 in league. They had won five in a row coming into the contest.

Dougherty Valley 52 Acalanes 50

Dougherty Valley got back on the winning track by edging Acalanes High, 52-50.

The Wildcats trailed 23-20 at halftime, but they outscored Acalanes in each of the final two periods to claim the victory.

Dougherty Valley had lost two of its previous three games coming in, including a 71-51 drubbing by Dublin a week ago.

The Wildcats improved to 11-4 overall and 1-1 in league play.

California 56 Granada 51

In a mild upset, California High slipped past Granada High, 56-51.

The Grizzlies held a 9-point lead at halftime, then held off a fourth quarter rally by the Matadors.

California has won three straight. They are 9-6 overall and 3-0 in league.

Granada had won three in a row coming in. They are now 10-4 overall and 2-1 in league.

Foothill 61 Livermore 46

Foothill High cruised past Livermore, 61-46, in a battle between teams in neighboring towns.

Foothill is now 5-10 overall and 1-2 in league play. Livermore fell to 5-9 and 0-3 in league.

De La Salle 60 San Ramon Valley 18

De La Salle returned to its winning ways, crushing San Ramon Valley High, 60-18.

The Spartans were upset by Monte Vista High on Friday night, 41-40, and seemed to take their disappointment out on the Wolves.

San Ramon Valley scored only seven points in the first half as De La Salle put on a defensive display.

De La Salle is now 11-2 overall and 2-1 in league. San Ramon Valley has lost five of its past six games. They are 6-9 overall and 1-2 in league.

Amador Valley 50 Monte Vista 46

Amador Valley High surprised Monte Vista High, edging past them, 50-46.

Monte Vista had upset De La Salle High on Friday night, but they were the victims on Tuesday night.

Amador Valley improves to 9-6 overall and 1-2 in league play.

Monte Vista falls to 9-5 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Concord 55 Northgate 39

Concord High ended Northgate's 13-game league winning streak by dominating the Broncos, 55-39.

Concord rebounded from a 53-51 loss to College Park on Friday night. They've now won five of their past six games. They are 11-5 overall and 2-1 in league.

Northgate had won three of its previous four games. They are 9-7 overall and 1-1 in league.

College Park 80 Clayton Valley 60

College Park High continued its winning ways, downing Clayton Valley High, 80-60.

College Park is now 10-6 overall and 2-0 in league. Clayton Valley falls to 8-6 and 0-2 in league.

Berean Christian 75 Mt. Diablo 37

Berean Christian High rumbled past Mt. Diablo High, 75-37.

The Eagles are now 12-5 overall and 3-0 in league play. They've won five straight.

Mt. Diablo falls to 3-12 overall and 0-2 in league. They've lost eight in a row.

GIRLS

EBAL

Livermore 40 Foothill 39

In an exciting match, Livermore High edged Foothill, 40-39.

The Lady Cowboys led throughout the game and had a 33-23 advantage after three quarters. However, Foothill rallied to take the lead late in the final period.

With 13 seconds left, Livermore's Ashley Holmes hit two free throws to win the game.

Livermore has won three of its past four games. They are 9-6 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Foothill had won four of its past five games coming into the contest. They fell to 6-9 overall and 1-2 in league.

California 51 Granada 42

California High stunned Granada High, 51-42.

Granada led 26-25 at halftime, but the Matadors only scored 16 points in the second half as the Grizzlies pulled away.

Granada fell to 12-3 overall and 2-1 in league play. They had won eight of their previous nine games.

California improves to 6-9 overall and 2-1 in league play. They've now won three of their past four games.

Monte Vista 62 Amador Valley 27

Monte Vista rallied from an embarassing loss to Carondelet last week as they dismantled Amador Valley, 62-27.

The Mustangs led 23-20 at half, but they outscored the Dons 39-7 in the second half to make it a rout.

Monte Vista has won seven of its past eight games. It is 12-3 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Amador Valley has dropped three straight. They are 9-5 overall and 0-3 in league.

Dublin 73 Las Lomas 38

Dublin High crushed Las Lomas, 73-38, to win its first league game.

The Gaels held a 37-24 advantage at half, then outscored the Knights 23-2 in the third period to put the game away.

Dublin is now 9-5 overall and 1-2 in league play. Las Lomas is 8-9 and 0-3 in league.

Dougherty Valley 71 Acalanes 48

Doughtery Valley cruised past Acalanes to keep its unbeaten league record intact.

Doughtery Valley outscored Acalanes in every period. They are now 9-6 overall and 2-0 in league.

Northgate 60 Concord 26

Northgate High won its second straight game, destroying Concord High, 60-26.

The Broncos led 46-8 at the half and never looked back.

Northgate improves to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in league.

Concord falls to 6-11 overall and 1-2 in league.

Clayton Valley 61 College Park 58

Clayton Valley High surprised College Park High with a narrow 61-58 victory.

The Eagles are now 7-9 overall and 1-1 in league play. They've won three out of their past four games.

College Park is 9-7 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Berean Christian 73 Mt. Diablo 29

Berean Christian High clobbered Mt. Diablo High, 73-29, for their ninth straight win.

The Eagles are now 12-4 overall and 3-0 in league play.

Mt. Diablo lost for the 10th straight time. They are now 2-11 on the season and 0-3 in league.

Washington 46 Newark Memorial 45

Newark Memorial High was edged by Washington High, 46-45.

The Cougars had won three in a row coming into the game. They are now 9-8 on the season and 2-1 in league play.

Washington improves to 12-4 overall and 2-0 in league.
