Dublin, the division's fifth seed, has a 7-4 record overall. The Gaels have won three of their past four games, including a 40-0 thrashing of Dougherty Valley High two weeks ago and a 35-7 pasting of Ukiah High in the first round of the playoffs.

They will face a tougher opponent in fourth-seeded College Park. The Falcons also have a 7-4 record, but they have won six straight. They won the Diablo Valley Athletic League with a perfect 5-0 record and defeated American High School, 49-34, in the first round of the playoffs.

Dublin and College Park have faced two common opponents. Both defeated Alhambra High and both lost to Las Lomas High.

Dublin will most likely rely heavily on running back Major Stelley, who rushed for more than 100 yards and scored two touchdowns against Ukiah.

The arm of senior quarterback Edward Achziger will also be a major factor.

Also on Saturday, Valley Christian High of Dublin will take undefeated Salesian High in a Division IV playoff game. That game begins at 1 p.m.

Valley Christian is the ninth seed and has a 9-2 overall record. Salesian is the top seed and has a 10-0 mark. The Vikings won their first round game last week while Salesian had a bye.
