All Sports Academy Dublin Dawgs Baseball Team Heads to New York

The baseball team will represent the City of Dublin and will be playing in Cooperstown.

All Sports Academy DAWGS are headed for Cooperstown, New York this week.  The DAWGS 12U team and their families will leave for Cooperstown to play in a week long, high caliber baseball tournament - 40 teams will be participating the week of July 19-25, 2014.

The DAWGS organization and parents have been planning the trip for a few years and are excited to be traveling to New York. The DAWGS Casino Night Fundraiser, held in early February, helped to offset the cost to get the team to Cooperstown.

A SENDOFF was held at the Elephant Bar in Dublin last Friday night where the 12U team, last year's 12U players, and many family members and guests gathered for a good luck farewell from the DAWGS Founder & President, Hank & Karen Chamberlain.

The team will carry the Dublin DAWGS banner in the opening ceremony while their families participate in the Spirit Competition representing the City of Dublin.  Off the field the boys will visit Cooperstown Hall of Fame and attend the 75th Induction Ceremony taking place on Sunday, July 27th.

They will also enjoy "trading pins" with other teams from around the country.

All Sports Academy DAWGS/OUTLAWS, established in June 2010, currently has seven teams 8U-14U playing travel ball tournaments.  The organization would like to thank our families for their support in achieving yet another "once in a lifetime dream" to play ball in Cooperstown, NY.

Congratulations 12U Coaches Hank Chamberlain, Kory Seely, Mark Hoffman, Chuck Acquisto and players: Koby Seely, Nolin Shervais, Clayton Schaible, Eric Pardo, Dante Biasotti, Nick Acquisto, Samin Bhalla, Andrew Hoffman, Nick Costello, TJ Meagher, and Gabriel Chamberlain.

GO DAWGS!
