Whiz Kid: Ben Young

Name: Ben Young

School:  Senior

Accomplishment: Senior Ben Young is not only ASB president but was also a captain on the varsity basketball team. Ben joined leadership in his sophomore year at  and in his junior year he was Gael Force commissioner. 

Ben is involved in band and plays the French horn. He has played basketball for all four years while at Dublin and played for two years on varsity. He has also have been on the varsity swim team for three years and plans to swim again this year.

Ben spoke to the community, city officials and Dublin High students and staff Monday evening at the launch of the program.

He recently received an appointment to U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and hailed the Integrity in Action program.

"This is an excellent program for our students," he said. "Integrity is noticed —colleges notice and work places notice."
