School of Imagination Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The School of Imagination, an education center devoted to children with developmental disabilities, officially opened up its new facility.

After a decade-long stretch of waiting, dedicated founders Charlene and Mitch Stigman unveiled , the , on Friday.

Former Dublin Mayor Janet Lockhart, Mayor Tim Sibranti, a representative with Jerry McNerney's office and other community members were all present to participate in the official ribbon cutting event. 

KTVU/Channel 2 Sports Director Mark Ibanez who has a 7-year-old child with autism was there to show his support.

The new 12,000-square-foot school at the top of Dublin Boulevard includes 10 classrooms, on-site therapy services and an interactive outdoor education center.
