Sean Kenney and Amy Miller were voted into their positions on Dec. 10

The Dublin School Board is being led by a new vice president and president. President Sean Kenney and Vice President Amy Miller were voted into their new roles as of Dec. 10.

Board Trustee Greg Tomlinson expressed his congratulations to both Kenney and Miller:

“I want to congratulate Sean Kenney and Amy Miller with their elections to president and vice-president of the Board of Trustees. Sean has been a strong advocate for our schools in general, the band program in particular, and the district will continue to benefit from his extensive experience working in the technology industry as we implement new technologies to best educate our students for the future. Amy consistently shows deep commitment to the success of our students and has done exemplary work to ensure the success of the Regional Occupation Program, which offers courses focused on employable, life-skills. I’m confident both Sean and Amy will provide strong leadership to the Board and continue to pursue innovative learning initiatives.”

Trustee Dan Cunningham says he is looking forward to having Sean Kenney lead the Board of Trustees as President over the next year.

"I know with his leadership skills, experience and dedication to the success of all our students, he will continue to help us move our district forward," Cunningham said.

Outgoing Board President Greg Tomlinson served two years.
