Memorial Bench Created In Memory of DUSD Employee

The Board of Trustees dedicated the Tom Fiori Memorial Bench in his memory Tuesday evening.

During Tuesday evening's board meeting, the board of trustees officially dedicated the Tom Fiori Memorial Bench in his memory.

Fiori was a grounds worker in the district for 34 years. He died suddenly two years ago. To honor his work and dedication to the district, district staff raised funds to purchase a bench in his memory.

"Tom was a tireless worker on behalf of the District," said Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Beverly Heironimus.
