AAUW Stock Group Hosts Speaker

The AAUW Stock & Investing Group is hosting a talk by David Greiner of Beckman Investment Securities on Friday, February 17, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Livermore Library Civic Center, conference room B.  His topic is "Everything you wanted to know about the stock market and were afraid to ask".  The meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Greiner has been a securities broker since 1970 with Beckman.  He has been active in the community and has been a member of the Board of Directors of Valley Care Charitable Foundation since 1986.  Greiner taught evening classes for Livermore Adult Education from 1974 to 2010.

The AAUW Stock & Investing Group meets the third Friday of the month at noon at the Livermore Public Library.  Members are interested in educating themselves about the stock market.  There is a stock "watch list" they follow every month.  Recent topics of discussion have been price-earnings vs. price-earnings-growth ratios and their uses, dividend stocks, and indexed funds.
