Dublin High School Band Drumming up Interest in Bingo

The Dublin High School Music Boosters began Bingo night over 20 years ago. After many years of success providing financial support to the program, a series of changes in regulations and other things contributed to the discontinuation of the event.  We have now brought it back after a long hiatus and we were fortunate enough to find that the original, top of the line bingo machine that was purchased for the event was still with the music program and, for the most part, in great condition.  

Through the help of our band parents, some minor maintenance was performed to get it in complete working order and today we are using it weekly.  We're so excited to bring Bingo back to the community and don't want the community to miss out on a fun night with family, friends and neighbors while supporting our students and helping them continue to make music. 

Did you know?

• Bingo night runs every Tuesday from now through May 2013 with the exception of March 5, April 2 and April 16. 

• Bingo is held in the Dublin High School student union on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. and close by 7 p.m.

• Complimentary snacks and refreshments are available.

• Bingo night fundraisers help support our efforts to raise money for new uniforms for our band, equipment/instrument repairs, competition fees and bus transportation to various band competitions throughout the year. The support of our community will allow us to subsidize the need to sustain the growth of our program that we are so excited about in the Dublin High School community.
