Dublin High Hosts Western Band Association Competition

Dublin High school's Irish Guard hosted their first Invitational Field Show

Irish Guard hosted the Western Band Association competition featuring more than 1,800 students from all over California -- all participants showed their best in dance, march and formations at Dublin's state-of-the-art stadium. 

All bands were classified according to their size, including drum majors, musicians, and auxilary: Class A, no more than 60 members; Class AA, no more than 80 members; Class AAA no more than 100 members; Class AAAA, no more than 140 members; and Class AAAAA, any number members.

This was Dublin High's first competition in which they hosted. The stadium provided snacks, vendors, and the Athletic Boosters were hard at work.

Kevin Grier, principal at was the evening's announcer. All students partcipating were announced before moving onto the field, all having previous recognitions and awards.
