Dublin High Cheer Teams Win First Place at Vegas Competition

Both the varsity and junior varsity teams represented Dublin to bring home the gold at the 2013 JAMZ National Competition

The Dublin High School varsity and junior varsity cheer teams competed at the 2013 JAMZ Nationals annual cheer competition in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday. Each team competed against eight other teams at the competition, which was held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

According to Kerrie Chabot, this is the first year the junior varsity team qualified to compete in Las Vegas and the second year in a row that Dublin High varsity cheer has taken home the gold from the competition.

Kristine Cousins is the varsity team head coach. Ann Marie Madera and Cousins coach the junior varsity team together.
