Assemblywoman Buchanan Tours Dublin High

Assemblywoman Joan Buchanan represents the 16th Assembly District, which includes Dublin.

Assemblywoman Joan Buchanan (D) toured Friday morning with a group of district and school officials and expressed her admiration for the work completed thus far in the school’s $120 million remodel project.

Buchanan, who was instrumental in the remodeling of both California and San Ramon Valley High School and heavily involved in the construction of Dougherty Valley High School, had high compliments for the Dublin High project, according to district officials.

“This project ranks right up there with any of those,” said Buchanan, who spent 20 years on the San Ramon Valley School Board. “You’ve done a great job, especially with the classrooms. This is a wonderful learning environment.”
