Home prices continue to surge in the Bay Area as they cool off a bit elsewhere.
The median price for a home in the nine-county Bay Area jumped to $585,000 in August, a 36 percent increase from the year before.
The price of a home can vary greatly from ZIP code to ZIP code, so we'd thought we'd take a look at houses on the market that are priced close to each community's median price.
In Dublin, there's this four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home at 5058 Osborne that's listed at just under $870,268.
The home, built this year, is 2,307 square feet and sits on less than a tenth of an acre.
