Homes For Sale Near Transit In Tri-Valley And San Ramon Valley Region

Studies have shown homes near trains, buses and other transportation have higher values than houses that aren't near transit

If a home is near a BART station or a bus stop, it's likely to have a higher value than a house that isn't.

Several studies this year have concluded a nearby transit stop will boost the price of a home.

These studies focused on metropolitan areas where mass transit is more readily available and more in demand than in suburban areas.

However, with this week's contract negotiations for both BART and AC Transit employees, we thought we'd take a look at some of the houses for sale in this region that are near transit.
