Why Was a Congressman Working As a Barista on Valentine's Day?

U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (CA-15) spent his Valentine's Day morning working as a barista in Dublin. 

Regulars driving through DR. Beanz Coffee Bar for their morning cup of joe likely recognized Swalwell serving his constituents. 

The morning was part of his "In Your Shoes" program where he works someone else's job once a month somewhere in the East Bay. Swalwell has worked at a Christmas tree lot, a local food bank and as a park ranger for past "In Your Shoes" days.

Swalwell represents the 15th District which includes Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Hayward, Castro Valley, Fremont, San Lorenzo and San Leandro.
