Wet Weather Won't Dampen Dublin's Holiday Celebrations

The city has put in place two contingency plans for the tree lighting on Thursday and the Holiday Faire on Saturday.

From the City of Dublin:

This week’s holiday festivities in Dublin will take place in spite of potential wet weather conditions. Contingency plans are in place for Thursday night’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony to move it to the Fountain Plaza in front of the Civic Plaza under a large covered tent or inside the Civic Center should it be necessary.

The Holiday Faire at the Heritage Park on Saturday will take place entirely indoors should the stormy weather persist.

Are you going to the tree lighting or Holiday Faire? Will the rain keep you way? Tell us in the comments section below.
