Week in Review: San Ramon Lawyer Arrested in Hit and Run Fatal Accident, Dollar Store Drug Tests and Measure E

Some of the stories that made news this past week in Dublin

San Ramon Lawyer Arrested for vehicular manslaughter: Spencer Freeman Smith, a lawyer, was arrested Thursday night for suspicion of killing bicyclist Bo Hu, a Chinese national who was visiting from abroad, in a hit and run accident late Tuesday night. Smith lives less than three miles from the scene of the accident and his black Mercedes, which had major damage, was taken as evidence.

Unregulated Dollar Store Drug Tests: Patch discovered home drug tests, which are unregulated by the FDA, can be purchased for one buck at the local Dollar Tree in town. The tests check for marijuana usage in urine. Read more about these unregulated tests here.
