Wednesday night's kickoff pep rally was a blast. We got in first, doing our "We are Dublin" chant and grabbed front row seats, where the judges could see us!

South Bend, Indiana brought a drumline and rocked the house. Tupelo, Mississippi played Elvis music (he was born there if you didn't know). The Mayor of Kansas City spoke and got everyone fired up and then it was off to a reception with all 23 cities in the competition.

We chatted with folks from Dedham, Massachusetts, who invited us to come with them and watch the Boston Bruins play in the NHL Finals. We talked to a nice guy from Ann Arbor, Michigan who is really a closeted Ohio State fan and got some Longhorn pins from Fort Worth, Texas. And hey, they served barbecue!

Dinner and then an early bedtime for us all because we need to be up bright and early to get ready for our skit.

Dublin’s presentation will be live-streamed at 6:50 a.m. local time on Thursday atwww.allamericacityaward.com.
