Mayor's Report: Plans for Old National Food Lab Site

City taking action to move Alameda County fire protection agency into the old National Food laboratories

The Dublin City Council has approved a consultant services agreement for a joint use project between the city and the Alameda County Fire Department on the former National Food Lab property on Clark Avenue.

Mayor Tim Sbranti explains the project in his video report that is attached with this story.

On Tuesday night, the council also approved an increase in the monthly salaries of members of the Dublin City Council.

The plan raises the salary by $68 a month to $904 for each of the five council members.

Sbranti said Dublin council salaries are the lowest in the Tri-Valley and hadn't been raised in four years.

He said an adjustment was necessary to bring Dublin closer to Pleasanton and Livermore's salaries.
