Livermore City Officials to Break Ground on New Outlet Center

Paragon Outlets will feature more than 120 stores, scheduled to open November 2012.

Officials on Friday will break ground on the.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and expected guests include Mayor Marshall Kamena, Vice Mayor John Marchand, Alameda County Supervisor Scott Hagerty, and Robert Brvenik, a principal at Paragon Outlet Partners.

“We are thrilled Paragon Outlets Livermore construction is underway and are looking forward to next year’s grand opening celebration,” Kamena said in a statement. “The addition of this world-class outlet shopping center will generate significant revenue and bring much needed jobs to Livermore. The outlet center is also a vital part of strengthening our ability to attract tourists to the area.”

The shopping center, formerly known as Prime Outlets Livermore Valley, is scheduled to open in November 2012 and will include more than 120 stores.

A food court also will be built as part of the project.

The development is expected to generate at least $1 million of sales tax revenue annually for the city.

  • Michael Kors
  • Neiman Marcus Last Call
  • Nike Factory Store
  • Saks Fifth Avenue
  • Tommy Hilfiger

The groundbreaking will take place at 3505 Paragon Outlets Parkway (signed as Freisman Road).
