Give Blood! Save Lives! Get Ice Cream!

Blood drive set June 28 at Dublin library.

The Dublin Community Summer Blood Drive,  a joint effort by the city and the American Red Cross, is planned June 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community room. 

Donors who present the blood drive's coupon, flyer or poster will receive vouchers for a free pint of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.

Donor appointments can be scheduled at www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation-sponsor using the code DublinCommunity.

The Red Cross reports that the Northern California community blood supply has dropped to critically low levels for blood types O positive, O negative, B negative and A negative, and urges all eligible blood donors to make appointments to give.
