Fall Elections: Who's In?

Who can you expect to see on the ballot this fall for City Council? Papers filed this summer have set the ball in motion for Nov. 2.

This November there are three City Council seats on the ballot; the position of Mayor and two City Council spots. Papers filed in July made the race official. While current Mayor Tim Sbranti will run unopposed, four candidates are vying for two Council Member positions.

Filing Completed: The following people have been certified by the Alameda County Registrar of Voters and are official candidates for elections.

Mayor Tim Sbranti (incumbent)

Councilmember Kate Ann Scholz (incumbent)  ** In an announcement made at the City Council meeting on Sept. 21, Kate Ann Scholz said she is withdrawing from the race.

Councilmember Don Biddle (appointed incumbent)

You can register to vote at any time by picking up a voter registration form at City Hall. The City of Dublin conducts a general election and you must register to vote at least 29 days before the first election in which you want to vote.
