League Presents Health Care Forum

The public is invited to attend "Healthy Californians--Stronger California", a health care forum presented by the League of Women Voters Livermore-Amador Valley.  The forum will be held at the Livermore Library Civic Center, 1188 S. Livermore Ave., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29.

Bay Area health care experts will discuss the CA Universal Health Care Act (SB 810) that is in the CA legislature and they will answer your health care questions.  Speakers include Randolph Clarke, M.D,. a family practice specialist in Antioch, CA; Andrew McGuire, Executive Director of CA OneCare; and a representative from Sen. Loni Hancock's office.  The film "Health, Money and Fear" in which professionals discuss the state of health care in the U.S. will also be presented.
