Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission Meeting

The Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission conducts public meetings on the second Thursday evening of each month, 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at 100 Civic Plaza.

Agendas are posted online prior to the meeting and at the Dublin Civic Center, Senior Center, and the Dublin Library.

The Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission is an advisory body to the City Council and City Staff. This Commission is made up of seven members of the community who serve four-year staggered terms. The Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission (HCAC) considers and makes recommendations to the City Council on historical, cultural and artistic matters by:

  • generating public input concerning the arts;
  • reviewing arts contract proposals;
  • insuring historical preservation of the Heritage Center.

The Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission may also review and make recommendations on the City of Dublin budgets for arts programs, facilities, and the Heritage and Cultural Arts Long Range Plan for the community.
