City Council Meeting

The City Council holds regular meetings on the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month, beginning at 7 p.m. Also, special meetings or work study sessions may also be called from time-to-time, and generally deal with specific topics. All meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and provide input to their elected officials. Regular meetings are both telecast and webcast live on Tri-Valley Community Television (TV28).

Agendas are generally available on Friday prior to a Tuesday meeting and list all items of business to be presented to and acted upon by the Council. Agendas are posted in the kiosk in front of the Civic Center, at the Dublin Library, at the Shannon Community Center and on this website. Anyone may come into the City Clerk's Office and pick up a free copy of the agenda or for a charge of $40 per year, may be placed on a subscription mailing list. Packets containing backup documentation and Staff Reports related to each agenda item are available for review prior to a meeting in the City Clerk's Office, at the Dublin Library or on the City's website. A Citizen's Information Packet is also available at each Council meeting.

Minutes of Council meetings are generally presented to the Council for approval at a future meeting. Once approved by the Council, they are available on the city's website and for distribution upon request for a minimal copy charge. The City Clerk maintains an historical index of all legislative actions taken by the City Council.
