Dublin's Holiday Tree Shines Brightly

Dublin's annual tree lighting was rain or shine on Thursday.

Residents turned out in their raincoats, boots and umbrellas to watch the annual holiday tree lighting on Thursday evening. Dublin High School's students performed before the ceremony, which was emceed by Mayor Tim Sbranti.

Sbranti led the crowd in quick countdown as the holiday tree at 100 Civic Center Plaza was lit for 2012.

Although it was dark, and blocked by tents set up to protect citizens from the weather, we still got a quick shot of the holiday tree peeking through the darkness.
