Dublin Swim Center Reopened After Evacuation Wednesday

A gas line leak caused a brief evacuation of the swim center.

A gas leak prompted the evacuation of the Dublin Swim Center around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, city officials say.

Spokesperson Jacqui Diaz says told Patch, via email:

"There is construction going on in the area of the Dublin Swim Center and a gas line leak occurred around11:30 a.m. or thereabouts yesterday morning.   The center was evacuated and classes cancelled until the repair occurred."

Diaz added that PG&E repaired the leak and the swim center reopened by 4:30 p.m.
