Dublin Election 2012: Who's In and Who's Out

There are two council seats and the mayor's slot on the ballot. There are also three school board seats up for grabs.

The final filing date for candidates to file papers to have their name on the November 2012 ballot was Aug. 10.

Here is a rundown of the candidates you will see on the ballot.

The current Dublin Mayor, Tim Sbranti, is unchallenged in this election.

Incumbent councilman Kevin Hart, David Haubert, Doreen Wehrenberg, Shawn Costello, Shehu Hassan, Anita Carr have all filed their candidacy papers in the council race.

Councilmember Kasie Hildenbrand's term will be up in November 2012 and she is not seeking re-election, leaving her seat up for grabs.

In the school board race, four people have taken out candidacy papers from the Alameda County Elections Department.

Incumbents Dan Cunningham, Amy Miller and Gregory Tomlinson filed their papers as did challenger Austin Ogden, a 2012 Dublin High School graduate.
