"This was my second time ever making chili," Middleton said.

"We entered corn bread and this chili in another competition for a fundraiser in January and won so we we decided to enter this competition after seeing it on the Dublin Patch," DeWitt added.

Dewitt and Middleton's "Two Girls Chili" schooled the other entries as they took first place, while Dublin local Michelle McDonald's "White Bean Chili" was awarded second place. won third place for his "Dub Town Red."
