Back to School Safety Reminder

A safety reminder from officials in the city of Dublin.

- Press release from the city of Dublin

Monday, Aug. 22 marks the start of the new school year for Dublin’s public schools and traffic at and around local school sites can be hectic. Dublin Police Services would like to remind students, parents and area residents to allow extra time when traveling during school drop off and pick up times, and to drive cautiously and act courteously to others.

Dublin Police Services will be providing traffic education and enforcement around all Dublin schools, including enforcement of texting while driving, during back to school week.  Please be reminded that the posted speed limit around schools when children are present is 25 mph.
