Police Log: One Stabbing and Lots of Sticky Fingers

Notable incidents encountered by police from Dec. 3 to Dec. 10.

Dublin Police Services responded to numerous calls involving theft, burglaries and shoplifting, plus a stabbing on Thursday.   

Saturday, Dec. 3

  • A drunk and disorderly arrest was made at 1:39 a.m. on the 4100 block of Grafton Street.
  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 6700 block of Dublin Boulevard at 4:20 p.m.
  • Shoplifting was reported at 7:17 p.m. on the 2800 block of Dublin Boulevard. 
  •  Stolen vehicle recovered by the police on the 8900 block of San Ramon Road at 9:45 p.m.
  • A 19-year-old Dublin woman was arrested on battery charges at 11:36 p.m. on the 3300 block of Madden Way.

  • Missing-person report was filed at 1:15 a.m. on the 7700 block of Ironwood Drive. The individual was classified as a runaway.
  • A Pleasanton man, 23, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 1:55 a.m. on the 4100 block of Grafton Street.
  • A Pleasant Hill woman, 26, was arrested at 2 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence on Koll Centre Drive and Tassajara Road.
  • A 21-year-old Concord man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 6:47 a.m. on Brighton Drive near Village Parkway.
  • Vandalism was reported at 1:17 p.m. on the 5000 block of Dublin Boulevard.
  • Theft was reported at 1:19 p.m. on the 7400 block of Dublin Boulevard.
  • A 24-year-old Pleasanton man was arrested on the 7400 block of Dublin Boulevard at 2:45 p.m. for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Monday, Dec. 5

  • A 49-year-old homeless man was arrested on the 7800 block of Amador Valley Boulevard at 3 p.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.
  • A motorist was cited for marijuana possession at 4:22 p.m. on the 7200 block of Regional Street. 
  • Theft was reported at 9:10 p.m. on the 7200 block of Amador Plaza Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

  • Theft through forgery was reported at 10:50 a.m. on the 2800 block of Dublin Boulevard. 
  • Vandalism was reported in the 3000 block of Finnian Way at 8:20 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

  • A 40-year-old Antioch man was arrested at 4:42 p.m. on the 2800 block of Dublin Boulevard on suspicion of fraud and forgery.
  • Theft on the 5000 block of Haven Place was reported at 8:45 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 8

  • Assault with a deadly weapon — a knife — was reported on the 6400 block of Dougherty Road at 3:10 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen on the 6600 block of Dublin Boulevard at 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 9

  • A DUI arrest was made at 1:23 a.m. on the 10700 block of Wallace Lane.
  • Vehicular burglary was reported at 3 p.m. on the 7600 block of Arbor Creek Circle.
  • Theft was called in at 5:49 p.m. from the 7200 block of Amador Plaza Road.

Saturday, Dec. 10

  • An individual was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on the 4100 block of Grafton Street at 1:44 a.m.
  • DUI arrest was made at 1:54 a.m. at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Dublin Court. 
  • Theft was reported on the 7400 block of Dublin Boulevard at 7:06 p.m.  
  • Residential burglary was reported at 10:52 p.m. on the 6300 block of Sussex Court.
