Patricia Martin Services: Patricia Martin was identified this week by Pleasanton school officials as the girl found dead in a motel room in Newark on September 14. Martin's mother, Kathleen Martin, asked the community to wear pink on Monday to honor her daughter. Services for Martin are on Saturday at Graham Hitch Funeral home in Pleasanton.

Splatter: 'splatter, not your ordinary food, wine and art festival' took place at Emerald Glen Park on Saturday. The food, art and wine festival included a concert, and even an The evening ended with a fireworks show. Click here to watch Mayor Sbranti's promo of splatter.

Unsafe home in Pleasanton: Three people were taken from a home on Orangewood Court in Pleasanton on Sunday evening after police were called about suspicious activity. The home, which has been red tagged by city officials as unsafe, was checked by the Drug Enforcement Agency on Monday due to strong chemical orders on and near the property. Parolee arrested for BofA robbery: 59-year-old Royland Rice of Oakland was arrested on September 19 by Pleasanton Police for allegedly robbing the Bank of America on Stoneridge Drive on September 11. Rice is on federal parole for robbery.
