Suspects in Safeway, Marshall’s Thefts Arrested

Police said the incidents occurred on the same day last week.

Dublin police reported three arrests in two burglaries that occurred last week.

The first incident occurred early Thursday. Police said they arrested Louie Daniel Romero Sr., 32, from Tracy, at 4:39 a.m. on suspicion of stealing items from the store on Dublin Boulevard.

The supermarket was open at the time, according to Lt. Linda Thuman. She added that Romero also was booked on an outstanding warrant.

Later that day, police arrested two Sacramento women at 7:56 p.m. on suspicion of taking items from the store on Dublin Boulevard. Laura Lachell Williams, 27, and Charitte Gabrielle Jones, 23, were arrested on charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.

Thuman said the arrests were made on burglary charges because officers believe the suspects entered the establishments with the intent to steal. Thuman said she could not disclose what the suspects took in the two incidents or the worth of the stolen items.
