San Jose Man Killed on I-680 Identified

Alameda County Coroner's office said Victor Carrasco, 39, of San Jose was killed on Interstate 680 early Monday morning.

A San Jose man killed on Interstate 680 on Monday morning has been identified by the Alameda County Coroner's office as Victor Carrasco, 39, according to the Oakland Tribune.

Carrasco's body was found by officers in the center lanes of I-680 around 3:30 a.m. after being hit by three cars traveling at freeway speeds, an officer told the Tribune.

CHP is investigating why Carrasco was on the southbound I-680 roadway at North Stoneridge Drive. No vehicle was found on the side of the road connected to Carrasco.

Thanks to all for the kind words. My brothers loss has been a horrific tragedy and has impacted our family forever! Tragedies like this may cause people to run late to their destination but we know that my brother isnt coming home in 25 minutes. Running out gas can happen to anyone anywhere. May god bless his children and my parents who are devastated. We knew that my brother loved the lord and know he is with him.. I love you brother. You will always be my prayer buddy! Candy, I send a ton of love to you and your family, I am o sorry that you are all having to go through something so tragic. I apologize that I am unable to attend his services as I am out of the country. Be well and My prayers are with you and the familia. Rest in Peace Victor. @His family: Sorry for the loss if a loved one! I hope he didnt do it over a girl! Does any of the family know uf he had fought with a wife or girlfriend before he passed away?
