San Jose Man Killed on I-680 Identified

Alameda County Coroner's office said Victor Carrasco, 39, of San Jose was killed on Interstate 680 early Monday morning.

A San Jose man killed on Interstate 680 on Monday morning has been identified by the Alameda County Coroner's office as Victor Carrasco, 39, according to the Oakland Tribune.

Carrasco's body was found by officers in the center lanes of I-680 around 3:30 a.m. after being hit by three cars traveling at freeway speeds, an officer told the Tribune.

CHP is investigating why Carrasco was on the southbound I-680 roadway at North Stoneridge Drive. No vehicle was found on the side of the road connected to Carrasco.
