Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found Safe

A resident saw the girl in the park and called police.

A 12-year-old girl, who went missing Monday night, was found safe and unharmed in a Dougherty Valley park Tuesday afternoon, San Ramon police Lt. Dan Pratt said.

A resident saw the girl in the park and called police. Police responded and found her around 4:10 p.m.

San Ramon police released a press release a few hours earlier, alerting media of the missing girl.

Pratt said the girl ran away from home and no foul play is suspected.

It was not a resident, It was my wife Julia who is a Music Teacher and was in the park. She met the girl and called it in. Julia said: " She is a darling girl with a wonderuful personality. I'm so glad she is safe. God bless her and her family I wish them all the best!"

I'm Julia, I teach Music in Students homes and when i have a cancelation i run to a Park and get walking and calling to fill the spot. I knew she was missing and when I saw her I thought she was a boy. I'm in the Area 6 Days a week with over 50 Private students & My Husband said I might as well be a resident. She did not admit to me who she was, I just figured it out. God bless her, She has great Moxi. She would do great on stage!
