Police Logs: Shooting, Drug- and Warrant-Related Arrests

In the past week, Dublin police made several drug- and warrant-related arrests, but the department’s most significant incident occurred , when an officer shot and killed a after he attacked her. The officer sustained head injuries but was released from the hospital after treatment.

Thursday, April 21

• A 25-year-old man from Newark was arrested at the intersection of Hacienda and Owens drives at 8:22 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence.

Saturday, April 23

• A 22-year-old man from Dublin was arrested at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Fallon Road at 3:29 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence.

Thursday, April 28

• A 39-year-old man from Dublin was arrested on the 6000 block of Spruce Lane at 2:11 p.m. on warrant-related charges.
• A 21-year-old man from Oakland was arrested on San Ramon Road at 5:30 p.m. on charges of possession of a firearm and probation violation.
• A 36-year-old man from Stockton was arrested on the 7000 block of York Drive at 10:33 p.m. on charges of public intoxication.

Friday, April 29

• A 27-year-old man from Arizona was arrested on the 4000 block of Hacienda Drive at 8:25 p.m. on charges of driving without a valid license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, April 30

• A 34-year-old woman from Dublin was arrested on Haven Place at 3:39 p.m. on charges of domestic violence.
• A 48-year-old man from Oakdale and 49-year-old man from Dublin were arrested at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Dublin Boulevard at 8:04 p.m. on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Sunday, May 1

• A 64-year-old man from Stockton was arrested at the intersection of Hacienda Drive and Martinelli Way at 1:55 a.m. on charges of possession of a controlled substance and warrant-related charges.
• A 25-year-old man from Washington was arrested on Langmuir Court at 8:50 p.m. on a court-ordered warrant.
